Outlook 2003 provides a wizard that guides you through the setup process. To use the wizard to setup your account, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook 2003 and the wizard will appear.Click Next.
  2. The wizard continues to guide you through the setup process. Select Yes.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select POP3. Click Next.
  5. Type the name you want your email recipients to see in the Your Name field.
  6. Type your email address, including the @ sign and domain name, such as yname@yourisp.com, in the E-mail Address field (where yourisp.com is the domain of your Internet Service Provider).
  7. Type your incoming mail server name, which is pop.yourisp.extension, such as pop.yourisp.com.
  8. Type your outgoing mail server name, such as mail.yourisp.com.
  9. Type your user (account) name, which is often the same as the first part of your email name, such as yname.
  10. Type your password. If you are not worried about someone accessing your account, click “Remember password” to automatically fill this field when you sign on.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish. Use your email account to send and receive messages anytime.
